Object of research - decision making process regarding the choice of priorities of scientific and technological development in national foresight-researches; goal of research - improving the efficiency of foresight-researches through the development and application of special mathematical and methodological tools and creating on their basis the applied information technology realization of the national foresight; methods of research - methods of systems theory, of the theory of finite automata, of decision making theory, bibliometric and scientometric methods, expert methods; the results - creation of scientific and methodological foundations in the form of specific engineering techniques, methods, algorithms and software tools for decision making support in the implementation of national foresight-researches; novelty - it is for the first time received system model of carrying out foresight-researches which is based on event approach to decision-making that unlike the existing gives the chance to display the difficult nature of foresight and provides transition from heuristic procedures to their formal description for further informatization of technology foresight; the method of valuation and amendments of the thematic directions of technology foresight-researches by use of a method t-streamlining and a Pareto optimality principle that provides adequacy of results of expert estimation is enhanced; the method of forming of the initial list of the thematic directions of foresight-researches by use of technologies of a bibliometrics, scientometrics and the patent analysis, that gives the chance to provide objectivity of basic data of foresight-research is enhanced; the applied information technology of implementation of foresight-researches by automation of decision-making at the choice of priorities of scientific and technical development in domestic foresight-researches gained further development; implementation level - the results have been implemented in the Research Center of Industrial Problems of Development by NAS of Ukraine, Kharkov state biological factory, in the National Aerospace University of M. E. Zhukovsky "KhAI"; field of application - information technologies
