Essay

The aim of the thesis is an improvement of the effectiveness of orphans observations at the family type orphanages. Current study is based on dynamic and structural features of somatic, physical and psychological components of child health and development of effective methods of child health improvement as well as social adaptation. Reasoning of prophylactic measurements of various disturbances inchildren with parental deprivation was carried out. It was based on studying history, clinical data, motor and cognitive development, socio- emotional development and adaptive development. Functional state of adrenals was identified by measurement of adrenal hormones and 24h urine catecholamines studies in a selected population group of preschool children with various types of parental deprivation. High levels of free cortisol were identified in children who were adopted after being institutionalized first. It's been proved that high levels of adrenal hormones in urine are correlated with developmental disorders in children with parental deprivation. Optimization of medico-social support of children with parental deprivation had been reasoned and outlined.
