Essay

The thesis is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness of diagnosing osteoporosis and metastatic vertebral compression fractures by application of magnetic resonance imaging. In this thesis the application of MRI identified the morphological changes of the vertebral bodies in violation of the EPP in bone mineral density, separately, with osteopenia and osteoporosis. Defined data involutes changes in the bone marrow in the form proposed by the EPP V variants. Refer MRI semiotics - occult osteoporotic fractures, acute osteoporotic and metastatic vertebral compression fractures and the proposed indications for their differential diagnosis. Based on their own observations provides methods: diagnosis of osteoporosis in elderly patients by visualizing of Basivertebral vein in the vertebral bodies of lumbar spine; the terms of the healing of osteoporotic fractures;
