The dissertation focuses on research of theoretical statements and development of practical recommendations for diagnostics of costs balance for the marketing mix elements of food industry enterprises of Ukraine. The writing develops the concepts and categories of the marketing mix theory. Theoretical approaches to the definition of such concepts as "balance in marketing" and "balance of costs for the marketing mix elements" were generalized. There was developed the methodical approach to costs balance for elements of the marketing mix and its level diagnostics taking into account the set level of functional dependence of the costs for the marketing mix elements and financial results.
