Object: reflex and scar contracture of masticatory muscles; purpose - patients treatment optimization using authorial treatment scheme; methods - clinical, biochemical, functional, morpho-histological, statistical; novelty - determined dependence of reactions severity to muscle injury on the level of biochemical parameters. It is experimentally proved that the formation of different scar structures depends on the type of injury and conducted treatment. Method of ultrasonographic examination of chewing muscles is improved.
