The dissertation focuses on the problem of studying the implementation of vowel stops in the modern German spoken television discourse under the phonostylistical variety on the basis of read-aloud and prepared speech. The results of the comparative analysis of read-aloud and prepared speech have proven the assumption about the importance of accounting phonostylistical variety for more accurate study of the vowel stops functioning in German spoken television discourse.
