Novytskyy M. Efficiency of dosage endotrabeculoectomy for open-angle glaucoma

The thesis is devoted to the actual issue of ophthalmology -improvement of efficacy of surgical treatment of open-angle glaucoma. A new surgerytechnique for open-angle glaucoma -removal of trabeculae through the anterior chamber angle (ab interno) - dosageendotrabeculoectomy was developed (Patent of Ukraine A61F 9/007 (2006.01). Intraoperative method of determining the level of retention of aqueous humor by retrograde filling with blood shlems channel was improved. A method for visualization of the outflow passage after surgery removal of trabeculae. It was found that developed technique of surgical treatment of open-angle glaucoma ETEhas expressed and stable hypotensive effect. After 24 months of ETE reduce IOP was 7,2±0,4 mmHg (27.2 % of baseline) and after deep sclerectomy-5,5±0,3 mmHg (20.5 % of baseline) (p <0.05). After 24 months of combined operations ETE and phacoemulsification of cataract IOP reduction was 5,1±0,3 mmHg (21.1 %), after deep sclerectomy and phacoemulsification of cataract- 3,7±0,2 mmHg (14.9 %) (p<0.05).
