The dissertation is summarizes the scientific basis of strategic development in order to clarify the nature of its theoretical and practical recommendations for the effective management of agricultural enterprises. The essence of the concept of "strategic development" and defined organizational and economic basis that allow to agricultural enterprises to ensure the stable operation and effective development in the market conditions. The current state and trends of agricultural enterprises in the context of strategic development have been analyzed. Studied the organizational and economic features of the functioning and the efficiency of their activity. Substantiated the conceptual foundations of strategic development of agricultural enterprises to formulate and implement the strategic for increase of economic efficiency. The methodical approach to the definition of economic development strategies of agricultural enterprises that can provide effective administration of agricultural production are substantiated. The strategic planning of process of production and economic activity of the enterprise for achieve margin have been offered.
