Essay

The production of lipid second messengers in plant cells metabolism regulation pathways. Role of phosphatidylcholine-hydrolyzing phospholipase C in the production of diacylglycerol as a reaction of plant cells to treatment with bioregulators and under biotic stress influence. Fluorescently-active phosphatidylcholine probe, thin-layer chromatography, RNA extraction, PCR, agarose gel-electrophoresis, Arabidopsis knock-out mutant lines. The changes to phosphatidylcholine-hydrolyzing phospholipase C activity at the post-translational and transcriptional levels following treatment with biotic stress inducers including hormones and elicitors has been revealed. The role of phosphatidylcholine-hydrolyzing phospholipase C4 isoenzyme in the control of plant defense reactions in conditions of P. Syringae bacterial pathogen action has been disclosed. Implementation fields: bioorganic chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology
