Yarigina E. Social security for families with children as an element of the social protection of the population of Ukraine.

Dissertation is devoted to the complex problem of theoretical and practical bases of social security for families with children as an element of the social protection. The place and role of families with children in today's society, the legal status of the family as the subject of social security law. In this paper we propose the definition of the concepts of "family", "family with one parent"; the basic functions of the family in society and justified the conclusion that today it is necessary to strengthen social protection. The basic principles of the social protection system and found relationship between the concepts of "social protection" and "social security", definition of the concept of "social services for families with children." Proposed author's classification of types of social services provided to families with children in social security system. Found proposals to reform and development of legislation in the sphere of social security of families with children.
