Essay

The nature of material as an object of management is considered. The essence of material flow management is shown. Factors that make an impact on the effective-ness of material flows management in assembly production are researched, generalized and norma-lized by the criterion of impact intensity. The model of evaluation of material flows management effectiveness in assembly production is proposed. The actions of increasing the effec-tiveness of material flows management for the enterprise of assembly production are proposed. The recommendations about the optimization of stocks level for the enterprise of assembly production are made. The model of assembly production with two phases is worked out.
