Essay

The thesis is devoted to the synthesis, structure and properties investigation of novel coordination compounds of transition metals on basis of hydroxyiminoacetic acids and carbothioamide derivatives. The composition and structure of synthesized compounds were determined by the elemental analysis, UV-Vis, IR, XPS, NMR 1H (13C) spectroscopy. It has been investigation the effect of synthesis conditions and location of ligand functional groups (-C=N-OH, -COOH, -NH, -C=S, -OH) on different type of complexes. It has been shown the effect of ligand isomerism on the localization of coordination bonds and the structure of formed complexes on basis of hydroxyiminoacetic acids. Investigation of biological effects for syn-/anti-isomers and their Cu(II), Pd(II) complexes shows different activity against endotheliocytes of mice. A method for the selective extraction of Pd(II) from aqueous solutions containing a mixture of Pd(II), Ru(III), Rh(III) is developed.
