Rykunich A. Management of Infrastructure at the Machine Building Enterprises of Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the study of theoretical, methodological and practical principles of improving the effectiveness of infrastructural management at the machine building enterprises of Ukraine. The theoretical basis of the enterprise infrastructure was extended. In particular, definitions of the economic concepts "enterprise infrastructure" and "management of the enterprise infrastructure subsystem" in the open market economy were developed, its components, characteristics and functions were redefined. Methodical approach to build and implement subsystem of the infrastructural management was grounded. Existing concepts in planning, organization and control of the infrastructural componenebts were improved.A scientific study was carried out to determine key performance indicators of the enterprise infrastructure.Data collected provided an input for evaluating the integrated coefficient - "the efficiency of managing infrastructure" (EMI). It allows us to assess the activity of each infrastructure component, amount of investment needed for its maintenance and development, the importance of performance factors in the infrastructural group and the entire company's infrastructure. Synthesis approaches and mechanisms for modernizing enterprise infrastructure elements were applied according to evolutionary development theory. There were infrastructure adaptation models identified such as: operational regulation without organizational changes, and restructuring or liquidation of the supportive units.
