Object of study: the development and formation of effective innovation in agriculture. Purpose: theoretical and methodological foundations of scientific rationale and effectiveness of innovation in agriculture. Methods: monographic, settlement and constructive, economic, statistical, scientific comparison, sociological questionnaire, analysis hierarchies. Scientific novelty: for the first time identified a system of conceptual orientations arising from long-term goal of ensuring the efficiency of innovative development and institutional objectives and conditions of their implementation, aimed at improving the main elements of innovation development of the agricultural sector; Methodical approach to the conditions of formation of efficiency and innovation, methodical analysis of provisions for improving scientific support agricultural production and the economy in general, organizational and institutional mechanism for the creation of scientific park in the region, methodical approach to evaluating the effectiveness of innovation; were further developed theoretical principles concerning the definition of the nature categories of "innovation", "innovation", "ahroinnovatsiyi", "effect" and "efficiency" of innovation, scientific principles of intensification of agricultural production on innovative basis.
