Essay

Based on the dialogic approach the thesis defines the place and significance in the piano sonata in the composer's and performer's art, the sonata form role in development of the intercultural dialogue style. Discussion of the musicological aspects of the dialogue theory allows detecting the criteria of the genre-style typology of piano sonatas as the prerequisite for separation of the sonata form principle in the logic of musical composition. The genre form of sonata and the sonata form phenomenon receive the scientific musicological apprehension and theoretical estimate based on the concept of the M. Bakhtin's dialogue and its noetic modification in the modern Ukrainian musicology.
