The thesis is dedicated to a complex research of the genre genesis and style modifications of the suite of a dancing type for a two-piano duo in a performance aspect. It has been found out that signs of dancing semantics were used in XVII - XVIII centuries as a consequence of influence of general processes of the suite evolution in instrumental, in first turn, clavier music. It has been noted that potential of music and artistic possibilities of performers and its stage realization while taking into consideration typological signs of a two-clavier duo - concert and symphonic aspects - allow showing specifics of dancing features in the instrumental piece. There have been researched features, characteristic of creating composer's and performer's interpretation of the "dance image".
