Krushynskyi S. Representation of evidence in the criminal proceedings of Ukraine.

Dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of theoretical and practical issues of evidence representation in the criminal proceedings of Ukraine. The current legislation of Ukraine, its application practice, scientific standpoints prepondering in the science of criminal procedure, concerning the institute of evidence representation in the criminal proceedings are highlighted in the research. The concept, essence and legal nature of evidence representation by separate participants of criminal proceedings are studied. The place of evidence representation in the system of criminal-procedural proving is clarified. The author explores the process of establishment and development of the evidence representation institute in the criminal proceedings of the Ukrainian lands that were a part of other states in different historical periods as well as presents the periodization of this institute development. The drawbacks and defects of legal regulation of relations connected with evidence representation in criminal proceedings are demonstrated. Proposals and recommendations aimed at evolving the normative regulation of relations as to evidence representation in criminal proceedings are substantiated.
