In the dissertation theoretical aspects of the national economy investment attractiveness were defined and the concept of a global investment attractiveness of the national economy was introduced. There were generalized methodological tools to assess the investment attractiveness and it was developed a methodical approach to asses a global investment attractiveness of the country. Key factors of the investment attractiveness of the Ukrainian economy were identified and systematized. It was characterized the investment processes in Ukraine in the context of globalization. Methodological approaches to assess the investment attractiveness of the national economy were further developed on the basis of the matrix approach taking into account the investment attractiveness and image of the national economy for the prioritization the public investment policy. Investment image of the country in the context of global investment trends was assessed. Key aspects of state investment policy were investigated. Organizational and methodological support to state decision-making procedures to improve the investment attractiveness of Ukrainian economy was elaborated on the basis of assessment of the global investment attractiveness of the country.
