Essay

The thesis is dedicated to investigation of more informative prognostic markers of tumor recurrence by identifying disseminated tumor cells (DTC) in bone marrow (BM) with simultaneous determination of cytokine status in breast cancer (BC) patients. The level of proinflammatory cytokines (TNF, IL-1 beta, IL-6) and growth factors (CSF-1, TGF- beta 1, VEGF, IFN) were estimated, analyzed their relationship with the presence of DTC in BM, the risk of relapse and an estimation predictive value of these indicators.
