The dissertation is the first special comprehensive research that is devoted to current theoretical and practical problems of forms of pre-trial investigation finishing. The concepts and importance of the institution of finishing of pre-trial investigation are determined. Novelties of Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine (2012) devoted to the regulation of finishing of pre-trial investigation are defined. The concepts and conditions of closing criminal proceedings are formulated. Procedural features, structure and content of motion for the exemption from criminal liability, indictment and motion to impose compulsory medical or disciplinary measures are defined. Scientifically reasonable proposals concerning the improvement of criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine in the field of Forms of pre-trial investigation finishing are introduced.
