Essay

The thesis is devoted to study of the effect of heteroatoms and substituents in aromatic rings on the aromaticity and conformational flexibility of the six-membered rings. Nature of changes of these properties was systematized depending on the type of heteroatom and electronic effect and specific properties of substituents. The presence of relation between energy of deformation and degree of aromaticity was demonstrated. An essential influence of entropy on aromaticity and flexibility of six-membered rings was revealed.
