The thesis focuses on the complex study of adjectives with the meanings "hoeflich" (polite) and "anstaendig" (decent) as a fragment reflection of the concepts HOEFLICHKEIT (POLITENESS) and ANSTAENDIGKEIT (DECENCY) within the concept field of ETIKETTE (ETIQUETTE) in the German language world picture. Linguistic analysis of literary and publicistic sources permits to make conclusions as to syntagmatic links, paradigmatic relations and epidigmatic characteristics of the considered adjectives as a part of lexical-and-semantic groups singled out by means of inventory.
