Essay

The analysis of charged particles confinement in helical devices under the action of slow-changing electromagnetic fseld is considered in this thesis. The phenomena of charged psrticles ransition between "passing" and "trapped" states are investigated by analytical and numerical studies of charged particles motion in the electromagnetic fseld in toroidal magnetic trap. The new method of cold alpha-particle (helium ash) removal from confinement volume is proposed.
