Essay

The object of investigation is biologically active, biodegradable fumarate-containing EPU composites filled with ferrocene biomedical appointment. The purpose of work is development methods of synthesis and study epoxy-polyurethane composite materials filled with ferrocene on based of oligooxypropylenfumarates (OOPF), study of structure synthesized composites, their properties and biological activity. The main results were obtained using of IR spectroscopy, liquid chromatography, differential scanning calorimetry, equilibrium of swelling Flory-Renera, spectrophotometry, sanitary-chemical, histological, tissue culture, radiographic, functional and sol-gel analysis. It was established that the obtained fumarate-containing EPU composites filled with ferrocene, have high physical and mechanical properties. They are biocompatible, bioactive, biodegradable, and capable of drug release from the polymer matrix and they can be used for production of under bone plates for an osteosynthesis. The obtained biocompatible polymeric materials fit with the requirements for polymer materials and medical devices can be recommended for clinical trials.
