Essay

The model of generalized optical anisotropy was first suggested for the description of polycrystalline networks of biological layers. The interconnection between the set of statistical moments of the 1st-4th order characterizing the distributions of the values of Mueller-matrix invariants (MMI) of biological layers and the parameters of optical anisotropy of polycrystalline networks was found. On this basis, the differentiation of representative sampling of histological sections of biopsy of benign (adenoma) and malignant (carcinoma) tumors of straight intestine with well balanced accuracy of was performed for the first time.
