Object of the dissertation is the motivation process of participants of innovation activities in the food industry. The object of the study is theoretical, methodological and applied aspects of finding and implementing ways to increase the motivation of participants of innovation activities in the food industry. The aim of the thesis is to improve theoretical positions, development of scientific and methodological foundations and practical advice for finding and implementing ways to increase the motivation of participants of innovation activities in the food industry. Methods of research are: theoretical generalization, system analysis, synthesis, clustering and classification, Delphi, graphic, structural and logical modeling. The practical significance of the results are: basic theoretical generalizations, conclusions and suggestions are scientific and practical valuable and can be used to find and implement ways to increase the motivation of participants of innovation activities in the food industry. A matrix of of behavioral innovation reactions depending on the balance of collective and individual motives, which allows us to identify the motivational state of the enterprise, offered. Promote and proved the hypothesis about the dependence of motivation of participants of innovation of factors "age" and "hierarchical level" in the management system. Improved scientific and methodical approach to determine the area of motivation of participants of innovation activities in the food industry. Were further developed application for "threshold" in relation to the motivating factors of participants of innovation activities. Recommendations and suggestions, some theoretical and methodological developments were used in the Department of Economic Development and Trade of Kherson Province in the development strategy of the Kherson region and also on enterprises of Kherson region: OJSC "Novotroitsky Creamery", OJSC "Kalanchak creamery" in the educational process of Kherson national Technical University.
