The scientific work has shown the main prediction features of hydrocarbon accumulation on the ukrainian part of north-western Black sea shelf and continental slope using mathematical and statistical analysis. The shelf exploration area has situated on the territory of linkage of East European platform and Skifska plate near the (on the influence region of) Odessa regional fault. The slope exploration area has situated on the Lomonosov massive on the territory of Dunai's paleochanel. The shelf exploration territory has contained two hydrocarbon production fields, four hydrocarbon prospective structures and one gas hydrate prospective field. The main prospectives of the shelf structures are connected to eocene, paleoccene and lower cretaceous sediments. The prospecting gas hydrate field is depended from the migration of hydrocarbons from deep seated structures and the near surface p-t thermodynamical conditions. Explorations were made by using the methods of mathematical and statistical analysis. The main result of method has provided for detection of the informational parameters of oil-and-gas content. The main features of method has contained of the exploration of correlation of concentration of hydrocarbon gases on the exploration areas, Pearson's correlation analysis, the Factor analysis of main component, tests of normality and tests of goodness of fit, the method of standardizing. The informational parameters of oil-and-gas content are recognized generally out of different gases components. The result of exploration has theoretical and practical sense. The main theoretical suggestion on the shelf areas has determined of the shown connection of hydrocarbon gases with hydrogen and carbon dioxide. There has been defining two main groups of connected parameters which are the group of alkanes with hydrogen and alkenes with carbon dioxide. The main processes which are characterized the hydrocarbon system are classified as the migration of hydrocarbon gases and hydrogen from deep bearing banks, the processes of oxidizing over the oil-and-gas fields, which are showed by two correlation groups agreeably and the processes. The processes of forming faults are also influenced for oil-and-gas content system. The practical results on the shelf areas have represented by the prediction of oil and gas potential extraction areas were were estimated with mathematical criteria's. The results on the slope area has represented by the prediction of areas of potential gas hydrate field. It has determined by methane high concentration halo-effect anomaly, sea-flour sediments high temperature anomaly and carbon dioxide high concentration anomaly. All structures and fields were recognized as prospective for searching or extraction of hydrocarbons.
