Object - The process of developing and implementing state policy of import substitution in the pharmaceutical industry (PI). Subject - theoretical and methodological foundations and practical provisions on public policy of import substitution in the PI. Purpose - to study theoretical-methodological and applied principles of state policy of import substitution in the PI. Methods - provision of modern economic science. Novelty - developed principles of state policy of import substitution in the PI for the realization of the strategic goals of socio-economic development. Result - developed system of measures to improve the organization of procurement in the PI. Implemented - Department of Economic Policy of Lviv City Council, JSC "Halychpharm".
