The object of study: the mechanism of investment development field forage production for cattle farms. Scientific novelty: first to consequently grounded approaches to evaluating the economic benefits of investments in the field fodder production by establishing direct effect of the feed on the market, depreciation, salaries taxes, rental income and property owners of land and allocation on food industry profits from the sale of livestock products, and calculating the cumulative effect on the factors that shape the value added in cattle and its forage production; Classification of investments in the field fodder production, the interpretation of the economic content of investments in the field fodder production, the system of basic and additional parameters for in-depth analysis of the marginal efficiency of investment in the field fodder production.
