Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to a complex research of a dance phenomenon in the context of drama opera works of the European composers of XVII-XIX centuries and in the opera theatrical works of the Ukrainian composers of the XIX century. Compositional drama and stylistic diversity of embodiment of a dance in the opera is achieved by the analysis of the operas by W. A. Mozart, S. Moniuszko, B. Smetana, M. Glinka, P. Sokalskiy, S. Gulak-Artemovskiy, N. Arkas, N. Lysenko. It has been found out that theses operas are connected by having suit, great and small dance forms and dance genre synthesis.
