Essay

Mannich base. Organic synthesis, thin layer chromatography, NMR spectroscopy, spectroscopy IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, biological screening. Facile preparative methods were elaborated for the synthesis of new isoflavone derivatives libraries for biological screening. The isoflavone Mannich bases synthetic value is shown for the introducing of new pharmacophore substituents and for fusing of oxygen-containing heterocyclic systems, which could be applied for another flavonoids and coumarins. The suggested procedure for the hydroxymethyl group introducing made possible the synthesis of natural isoflavone cristateine. Antineoplastic agents and growth-stimulate activity isoflavone derivatives were identified bases on biological screening. Implementation fields: organic chemistry, chemistry of heterocyclic compounds, bioorganic chemistry, fine organic synthesis.
