Komnatskyi B. Substantiation of providing of local anesthesia in outpatient treatment of patients with oral diseases concomitant with diabetes mellitus.

Object - treatment of patients with dental diseases concomitant with diabetes mellitus (DM); goal - improval the efficiency of local anesthesia in outpatient treatment in patients with dental diseases concomitant with DM, based on experimental and clinical substantiation of the premedication's means and local anesthesia; methods - clinical, physical, biochemical, laboratory, psychological, special sociological, experimental on animals, statistic; novelty - further development has received in the studying of peculiarities of pain sensitivity of dental pulp in patients with DM; studied the state of nonspecific adaptation reactions in patients with dental diseases combined with DM; first studied psychological features and the quality of life in dental patients with DM with the help of adapted stomatological questionnaires DAS, MDAS and OHIP-14;first time under conditions of experimental alloxan diabetes and modeled immobilization stress, been proved desirability and safety of application an anesthetic with vasoconstrictor concentrations 1:200000 in combination with a tranquilizer Hydazepam IC; defined the effect of premedication means and various kinds of anesthetics on blood glucose levels and indicators of clinical efficacy of analgesia; results - the method of local anesthesiological support of dental treatment measures in patients with concomitant diabetes, which allows to choose the optimal tactics of anesthesia in outpatient treatment and to prevent the possible complications; implemented - in the treatment and educational process; branch - dentistry.
