It is determined the content of conceptual apparatus "terrorism" as a philosophical category that based on the study of the research state of topics and it is considered methodological nature of terrorism in the context of anthropology of law. The legal nature and essence of the dangers of terrorism are researched in its ontological dimension, gnoseological nature of modern terrorism is disclosed. From the standpoint of legal philosophy it is researched anthropological essential nature of terrorism in relation to the philosophical and legal categories: "human rights", "justice" and "violence"
