Makarenko N. Legal regulation of the ecological safety in the matter of oil and gas extraction in Ukraine

The Dissertation deals with the integrated research of the legal regulation of ecological safety in the matter of oil and gas extraction. In this research, the place of legal regulation of ecological safety in the matter of oil and gas extraction in the system of modern environmental law and ecological safety law is determined. The legal-theoretic research in the field of ecological safety regulation in the matter of oil and gas extraction is analyzed, as well as legislative approaches to the definition of the examined legal category. The concept and distinctions of the legal regulation mechanism of ecological safety in the matter of oil and gas extraction are determined, along with its composition: the institutional and legal, the functional and legal, and security and defense providing of environmental safety regulation in the afore-referenced area.
