3. Object: innovatization and intellectualization processes of the national economy. Purpose: development of theoretical principles, and also scientific, methodological and practical recommendations to ensure the competitive functioning of the national economy based on factors of intellectual and innovative development. Methods: dialectical, historical and logical, analysis and synthesis, graphical, statistical, methods of correlation, regression and trend analysis, forecasting, grouping and ranking, comparison, analogy, generalization. It is offered: first: it is offered a scientific approach to determine the impact of factors of intellectual and innovative development of Ukraine's economy on competitiveness; it is improved: definition of competitiveness as an integrated capacity of interrelated economic systems of micro and macro level to create sustainable comparative advantages through innovation in the sphere of production and circulation, the approach to the definition of intellectual and innovative process as a succession of states of economic development of the national economy, scientific approach to determine the conditions of consistent transition of the national economy from factor-driven to efficiency-driven and innovation-driven, organizational and economic principles of phasic development of the national economy of Ukraine, scientific principles of provision of sustainable development of the national economy; gathered subsequent development: approach to identification of essential and categorical coherence of such a series of concepts: "competitiveness", "leadership", "economic development", " economic growth"; methodical approach to study the long-term socio-economic development of Ukraine; approach to conducting comparative analysis of concepts and strategies of intellectual and innovative development of Ukraine. Sphere of the use: state institutions in the field of economic policy.
