The dissertation is devoted to complex research of methods of intentional homicide committed in state of strong mental agitation investigation. It is observed the concept, content as well as it is determined structure of criminalistic characteristics of intentional homicide committed in state of strong mental agitation and research of its elements. The issues of organization and tactical providing of investigation of intentional homicide committed in state of strong mental agitation are revealed. On the basis of the research the reasonable proposals of improvement of the criminal procedure law and its practice are set.
