The object of the research is the process of state administration of freelance activity. The research aims to the development of the theoretical foundations and practical recommendations in order to improve for the state administration of freelance activity in terms of the national market development. The author used such methods as: analysis and synthesis, grouping, comparison and generalization, a hypothetical method, methods of questioning, expert opinions, and empirical research, structural and logical analysis, graphic. The theoretical value of the thesis refers to the study of the theoretical principles of state administration of freelance activity in terms of national market development. Scientific novelty of the results: for the first time there is represented the system of indicators for evaluating the status of freelance activity on the government level, there is improved the model of freelance project performance, the system of state administration of freelance activity, classification of freelancers, there are developed conceptual and terminological aspects of freelance activity. The subject of research refers to theoretical and practical issues of state administration of freelance activity in terms of national market development. Author's recommendations are used during the state administration of freelance activity in terms of national market development. The sphere for the use of author's recommendations is revered to public authorities.
