The theoretical basis and practical aspects of regulation competitiveness of the national economy are considered. The complex analysis of key factors and levels of competitiveness Ukraine, obstacles and risks to improve it. Improved conceptual framework of the regulation of competitiveness in the interpretation of the essence of "competitiveness" as an adaptive properties of the economic system to optimize development processes in the environment. Attention is focused on speed vector of the economy to change to meet the new challenges that forms the basis for the purposes of state regulation of competitiveness.The features of monetary regulation of competitiveness at the micro and macro level and in individual groups of competitive factors. The role of monetary tools in enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy by analyzing the correlation between monetary variables and indicators of competitiveness. Approaches to enhance the incentive role of interest rate policy at the micro level through the development of optimal rules. The expediency of transition by targeting the monetary tools at price competitiveness to stimulate innovative competitive advantage. Improved approaches to state regulation of competitiveness through the use of the Concept monetary and industrial policy. Outlined stabilization and innovative areas of application of monetary tools to enhance competitiveness. Recommendations to enhance the competitiveness of innovative monetary levers with due regard to the specifics of the existing system of incentives participants in the innovation process and the use of alternative types of bank regulation. Recommendations to improve the institutional structure of export credit.
