Essay

Objective: to substantiate theoretical and methodological terms and to develop practical offers for the effective functioning of rural transport component. Object: the process of forming the socio-economic conditions of rural transport component development. Methods of the research: statistical groupings, graphical and tabular method, comparative, extrapolation, correlation and regression, methods of resolving the cross-border transportation problems, method of determining the center of gravity, index, factor analysis, cluster analysis. Theoretical results: theoretical and methodological principles of effective functioning of rural transport component were developed. Practical results: suggestions for the effective functioning of rural transport component were developed. Scientific novelty: the methodical approach to building the optimal route network of passenger transport in rural areas was developed, which is based on the use of graph theory and takes into account the carrying distance, road network ranking, including its condition, speed evaluation and fuel rational use as well as the rate of population transport mobility. Degree of implementation: Department of Regional Economic Development of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration; Trostianets District State Administration of Vinnytsia region; SE "Vinnytsa Oblavtodor" OJSC "SJSC "Automobile Roads of Ukraine""; Uman National University of Horticulture. Efficiency: results of the research contribute to the efficiency of functioning of rural transport component. Usage area: central and local executive authorities, industry authorities, legal entities in rural areas, higher educational establishments.
