Essay

The thesis presents the results of the selection and evaluation of genetic conservation of livestock gene pool of Red Steppe plant species herb. A comprehensive study of the formation of live weight, external characteristics, milk production, reproductive capacity, lifetime use of animals and found that cows of Red Steppe cattle are not inferior to the level of the main breeding signs of cows of the same age of fat milk type of Ukrainian Red Dairy breed. It is proved probable dependence of economically useful traits of animals from paratypical factors.
