The thesis has found new resolve important scientific task of theoretical and methodological basis and practical study of rational risk management mechanisms of production and economic activity of small agricultural enterprises. Conceptual principles of construction and functioning of efficient risk management of small agricultural enterprises considering flexibility in their options and their sensitivity to environmental changes based on priority use of insurance instruments to protect the economic results in combination with compensatory measures of state support in the context of improving the economic efficiency of the said categories of enterprises. Improved directions of risk management of agricultural enterprises based on a synthesis of international experience and its adaptation to the functioning of the domestic producers by means of introduction of a broader comprehensive insurance economic results of production and economic activity.
