Essay

The thesis considers the study of bird seasonable migration in the Middle Dnieper region on the example of Kremenchuk reservoir. The directions of bird migration, their species structure, day movement activity and height distribution within permanent place are discovered. The places of bird concentration in water-marsh complex in the migration period are found; their species structure and number dynamics are investigated. The results of bird turn analysis show the importance of this region in the system of migratory ways - the Dnieper meridian and Polissia latitude ways.
