Essay

The thesis reports that G/G genotype of the Bcl1 polymorphism of glucocorticoid receptor gene is associated with higher risk of bronchial asthma and visceral obesity, as well as worse control level and more severe clinical course of bronchial asthma. New approaches to the treatment of bronchial asthma associated with visceral obesity were substantiated in relation to the genotype of Вcl1 polymorphism of glucocorticoid receptor gene: the patients with G/G genotype who have partially controlled or uncontrolled asthma require medium and high doses as baseline therapy, respectively.
