Dissertation for graduating degree of Candidate of Technical Science on the Speciality 05.17.01 - technology of inorganic substance. - The state higher educational institution "Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology", Dnipropetrovsk, 2015. This thesis has to do with the problem of establishing regularities of sodium chloride aqueous solution processing by means of contactnon-equilibrium low temperature plasma, it also focuses on the development of technological parameters for obtaining oxygenated and chlorinated oxidants. Regularities of processing aqueous solutions of sodium chloride by contact non-equilibrium low temperature plasma have been theoretically and experimentally studied. Thermodynamic and kinetic analysis of chemical reactions in aqueous solutions of NaCl under plasma treatment conditions in gas-liquid plasma-chemical reactor have been performed. It has been established that all the regularities of changing the composition and properties of plasma treated NaCl solutions can be explained by the approximation of kinetic model that includes oxidation stage of water molecules, chloride ions and oxygen-contained chlorine compounds and decomposition stage (reduction) of meta-stable products of chemical transformations. Technological parameters of obtaining oxygenated and chlorinated oxidants by plasma treatment of NaCl aqueous solutions have been determined. The scheme of obtaining oxygenated and chlorinated oxidants by plasma treatment of aqueous solutions of sodium chloride has been developed.
