Bodnarchuk L. Bertrand Russell's Research on History of Eastern Philosophy

This dissertation deals with the complex analysis of historical and philosophical research of the Eastern philosophy made by Bertrand Russell: conceptual foundations, cultural and historical background, consequences of the thinker's appeal to philosophical traditions of the East are discovered. Philosopher due to his philosophical and literary experience characterized the field of communication between The Western and The Eastern cultures, the basis of which is focus on dialogue and understanding of special features of each culture. The genesis of Russell's philosophical beliefs is traced, the main change of ideological and philosophical views during philosopher's life in the context of his social and political activities is evident.
