Essay

This thesis investigates the status and specificity of the historico-philosophical component in the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze and its reflection in Deleuze's interpretation of Leibniz's teachings. It presents the concept of reactivation as fundamental to the investigation of a particular historico-philosophical conception in Deleuze's teaching. The textual and conceptual analysis of Deleuze's philosophy conducted in the thesis demonstrated that, on the one hand, historico-philosophical approach of the French philosopher is similar to the approaches of his contemporaries (J. Derrida, M. Foucault) and, on the other hand, its' essential difference. For example, interpreted by Derrida Condillac's concept of frivolity is only the way to illustrate using of deconstruction procedure. Conceptually, the frivolity does not belong to the philosophy of Derrida. The approach of Deleuze is ambipolar: he provides an interpretation of the conceptual structure of a certain theory and on the top of that necessarily adapts and even coherently assimilates it in his own conception of interpreter. Most of all this feature regards to the method of reactivation, proposed by G. Deleuze.
