Stepanyshyn V. Improving the efficiency of labour protection in forestry on the basis of the production risks assessment

The thesis focuses on the development of the methods for improving the effi-ciency of planning a range of measures to protect labour in forestry enterprises on the basis of the assessment of industrial injuries risk. The paper analyses the main causes and consequences of industrial injuries in the forestry sector, presents the identification and assessment methods of occupa-tional risks. The computational procedure of the correlation and regression analysis of multifactor processes in forestry, the expert studies of occupational risks at work-places have been carried out. The methods of the occupational risks assessment on the basis of prior information and rank correlation as well as the system of the risk audit of safety at workplaces, methods for improving the efficiency of planning a set of measures to reduce the level of injuries in forest enterprises have been developed. The system of labour protection and occupational risks management has been im-proved in order to reduce the production risks to an acceptable level. A package of measures for labour protection management based on international standards and modern requirements for production security has been offered.
