Balanyuk I. Clinical and microbiological estimation of colon biocenosis violations at HIV-infection/AIDS and treatment optimization.

It has been found the changes of microbiocenosis colon in the 152 examined patients with HIV-infection. It has been established the direct correlation between the depth of dysbiosis and progression of HIV infection (r = 0,74-0,91), as well as with significant morphological changes of rectal mucosa (r = 0,43-0,99). On the background of probiotic treatment the clinical manifestations of intestinal dysbiosis have been significantly reduced, normal rectoromanoscopic have been found, significantly improving qualitative and quantitative composition of the microflora of the colon. After a 30-day course of treatment with this probiotics alone or in combination with HAART significantly more achieved intestinal normomicrobiocenosis, dysbiosis completely eliminated IV degree (Р<0.001). Supplement these probiotics HAART slows the progression of immunodeficiency. It has been established effect of antiretroviral drugs as irritation of the colon. Use of probiotic allows to quickly eliminate diarrheal side effects of HAART.
