Medvid A. Social Protection of Homeless people and Street Children.

The dissertation is the first in domestic science of social security law special complex research of theoretical and practical problems of legal maintenance of social protection of homeless people and street children in Ukraine. The thesis defines the terms “homeless person” and “street child” as an objects of social protection, the development stages of the Ukrainian legislation on social protection of homeless people and street children are being singled out and characterized. The concept and basic principles of social protection of homeless people and street children are defined. The sectoral nature of social relations in the sphere of social protection of homeless people and street children and area of their legal regulation were researched. Forms and types of social protection of homeless people and street children were researched. The system of reintegration of homeless people and homeless children and their components were characterized. Scientifically based proposals for improvement of current legislation of Ukraine in the sphere of social protection of homeless people and street children are formulated.
