Essay

The thesis deals with topical scientific problem of determination of interrelation between parameters of the drying process and grain quality parameters in conditions of impossibility of application deterministic or probabilistic models. There were increased the effectiveness and the amount of qualitatively dried grain by selecting values of control actions with the help of system of intellectual decision-making support with subsystem of humidity control of grain flow. There was carried out the analysis of control object, of methods and models that are used to control grain drying in shaft dryers. The model of grain drying control was based on fuzzy sets where the criterion of effectiveness includes grain quality parameters which are measured subjectively as well as shell quality, color and grain smell. The regression model was obtained on the basis of experimental data that link the dielectric constant with humidity and temperature of the wheat, and approximated by polynomials of the first and second degrees, thus continuity of parameter values is ensured in the range that is typical for grain drying in shaft type dryer. Carried out implementation increased the effectiveness of drying process and the number of high quality dried grain in shaft type dryers.
